Today I dreamed about an amusement park in a desolate place that me and (Nathan) saw on a walk home from school. I tried to get on the main ride which was some sort of teacup-ish ride that would take you up and around a tree and then back. It had neon lettering on the outside and a single pink pillow on the inside. We went one at a time but I barely had fare so I had to scrounge for money, and when he was done the ride was closed down. Then he and my other friends left. I did however manage to convince the ride manager to let me onto the ride with this hooded girl passing by after arguing for a long time. When I got on though, it took far longer than it should have, again, despite moving at normal speed. Then I looked at her and we spoke about I know not what. In the middle of our conversation I had the image of an artwork flash into my mind and stay there. It had no label but I knew it was called the kiss. Two hooded figures, both outlined, sat in front of each other as a large blue sketched neon snake with a ridge of tufty yet rough hair on it’s back stretched out of both their hoodies, so large in diameter that it stretched out the opening of their hoodies. Neither of the snakes heads were visible, and the background appeared as a disheveled room. The entire time I saw the artwork, ‘Sweet but a psycho’ was playing in my head, and it started from (no…. no,) instead of the beginning.
This dream can be interpreted as reflecting some internal struggles and desires. The amusement park in the desolate place may represent a sense of excitement or enjoyment found in unexpected or unconventional circumstances. The teacup ride could symbolize your desire for fun and spontaneity, but the fact that you had to scrounge for money may suggest a lack of resources or limitations in pursuing your desires.
The ride being closed down after your friend had already gone on it could indicate missed opportunities or feeling left behind. However, your persistence in convincing the ride manager to let you on with the hooded girl could represent your determination to overcome obstacles and make connections with others.
The artwork of the two hooded figures with the large blue snake may signify a sense of mystery, hidden emotions, or a complex relationship. The snake could symbolize both danger and transformation, while the disheveled room in the background might indicate inner turmoil or chaos.
The recurring song lyrics, "Sweet but a psycho," playing in your head during the visualization of the artwork could suggest conflicting emotions or thoughts within yourself. It could reflect a struggle between your desires for sweetness and stability versus your impulses or unpredictability.
Overall, this dream may reflect your longing for excitement, connection, and a balance between different aspects of your personality. It could also indicate a need to explore and understand your own desires, emotions, and inner conflicts more deeply.
